MMOexp Last Epoch: Transition to Empowered Monolith

From the very beginning, the Bladedancer excels in leveling speed. Using a combination of Bladestorm and Shurikens-particularly the Blade Shield setup-the build tears through the campaign and normal Monolith content with Last Epoch gold ease. Enemy packs melt almost instantly, and progression feels incredibly smooth.

The synergy between Bladestorm and Shurikens is what makes this setup shine. Once activated, the rotating blades continue dealing damage even while new casts are initiated, allowing overlapping damage zones and exceptional clear speed. This mechanic alone enables players to rush through story zones faster than most other builds.

Even with mediocre gear, the damage output is strong enough to handle nearly all early-game content without resistance. Survivability is rarely an issue during the campaign, allowing players to focus entirely on offense and mobility.

Transition to Empowered Monolith: A Reality Check

The jump from normal Monolith to empowered timelines is where things begin to change. While damage remains excellent, survivability becomes a real concern-especially when using the close-range Blade Shield variant.

In empowered content, enemies hit significantly harder, and staying in melee range can quickly lead to repeated deaths. To address this, switching to the Deadly Aim variant becomes highly recommended. This version allows for a safer, ranged playstyle while still maintaining strong damage output.

Although Blade Shield offers slightly more serious theoretical damage due to overlapping hits, Deadly Aim provides consistency and safety-two factors that are crucial when farming gear in early empowered stages.

Playstyle Differences: Blade Shield vs Deadly Aim

Both variations of the build are viable, but they cater to different playstyles:

Blade Shield (Close Range):

Higher burst potential

Requires aggressive positioning

Risky in early empowered content

Deadly Aim (Ranged):

Safer and more consistent

Easier to farm with weak gear

Preferred for early progression

For players who enjoy a more relaxed and controlled approach, Deadly Aim is the clear winner. Blade Shield may become more appealing later with optimized gear and better defenses.

Skill Setup and Core Rotation

The build thrives on simplicity. A minimal skill rotation is enough to clear all early and mid-game content efficiently.

Core skills include:

Shurikens as the primary damage source

Bladestorm for clearing and area control

Smoke Bomb for mobility and damage amplification

Interestingly, additional skills like Sync Strike or advanced combos are not necessary early on. Keeping the setup simple helps maintain smooth gameplay and avoids unnecessary mana issues.

Smoke Bomb stands out as a particularly strong utility option. Beyond mobility, it provides a significant damage boost early in Last Epoch gold for sale the game-making it more effective than alternatives like Shift during league start conditions.
